I think it’s safe to say that finding a church which fulfills all the requirements that we put forth isn’t easy. It may be something simple as whether or not the church offers programs for your children, or maybe whether or not the church has the same age group attendees as you. It’s hard to say what your situation is, but it’s easy to say that in most cases, it’s not easy to find a perfect fit.
As a person with a pretty little coin in his pocket named social anxiety, I was extremely nervous when Emmaus Church asked me to create images that displayed the personality and face of the church. In order to do this, I was going to have to attend several of the church gatherings and events, which honestly puts me way out of my comfort zone, but here's the thing.
After completing the entire project, I was able to walk away with a really awesome feeling of not only accomplishment, but a sense of refreshment from how awesome each person I met at the church was. At no point did I feel any sort of social discomforts, but instead I was just surrounded by a really accepting group of people within different age groups.
All of this being said, I'm extremely happy with the images I created and with my overall experience and I don't have a single ounce of hesitance when I say, if you're looking for a church that is more than just a Sunday morning, but more of a true fellowship with awesome people, check out Emmaus Church Corpus Christi!(http://emmauschurch.net)
