Being a senior portrait photographer is always interesting and a lot fun. I meet a lot of different kids people who are towards the end of their childhood graduating high school or entering a new stage of life after college as they start their career. Working with Jack was awesome because he was easy to talk to and create images that represented him and his passions. We started the shoot off inside the the gym at TM HS where I used off camera flash to shape light in a way that accented and focused on his love of basketball. Using these techniques can take a bit of trail and error and Jack was patient yet fired up about nailing down each shot. Seeing him excited about an shot idea really helped get the creative ideas flowing and I believe the contrast between the locations, lighting and styles make this possible to see visually.
