I couldn't be more excited then when Luis and Gabby contacted me to set up a senior portrait session/couples photos. I've known both of them since at least middle school and they have always been perfect for each other! So when Luis privately contacted me to talk about a surprise proposal, I was even more excited!
The session started off with the focus on Gabby and her graduation images while slowly starting to incorporate Luis. They were both a bit stiff but I was probably the most nervous knowing what would eventually be coming up and how my job would be to capture the moment. We had a ton of fun using different locations to our advantages by taking control of the light and using it to it's full potential!
If you look at the image on the 7th row down 2nd from the left, it's a portrait of gabby alone. This is where I distracted her away from Luis and my assistant in order for Luis to take possession of the ring back from my assistant who was holding on to it. We then walked to the designated location Luis and I had planned and waited for the moment where I asked, "How long have y'all been together" which was Luis' cue! I believe the rest of the images speak for themselves!
