As a photographer, my job is so much more than "snapping images". It starts by finding the light, then capturing moments and emotions, and lastly ends with telling the story out of those captured images. Editing is of course a huge part of this process, and it's something that can make or break an image which then has the capability to ultimately hurt the story.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of getting to spend time with one of my good friends, Jared Hall. He's an illusionist who uses illusions and comedy to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in relevant, engaging ways, and did just that here in Corpus Christi at First Baptist Church. I not only had the awesome opportunity to shoot his event, but actually had the honor to shoot a few portraits of Jared.
All images below where done with no spare time to adjust and check settings. It was a day full of do or die moments and this where I as a professional photographer succeed.
