The Sound... It's sound that i'll never forget.
Try and think back to your last handshake you shared with someone who had an abnormally tight grip. Do you remember trying to discern whether that person was just being himself, or if he/she had something against you, or maybe you thought that person was just insecure? Now imagine that person never letting go.
That's what if felt like seeing David play live, except he was the person with a never ending firm grasp and his strings where the hand getting mangled. He was deliberate, and his command over the guitar could literally bring the strings to a scream or whisper. That's not an easy task in general, but live!? That takes a master.
I grew up listening to David, and spent a lot of time trying to match his guitar tone and style. Seeing David perform was more than a memorable experience, but to shoot the performance was icing on the cake!
